The mission of the San Francisco Friends of Chamber Music (SFFCM) is to make chamber music a vital part of the cultural life of the San Francisco Bay Area by increasing audiences and support for chamber music activity – performance, education, career development.

Our goals are:

- to provide assistance (fiscal sponsorship, workshops, resources and services) to chamber ensembles (established and emerging), and individuals or unincorporated organizations with chamber music related projects The Affiliate Program

- to create chamber music education opportunities for a wide range of players that both encourages life-long participation and builds new audiences for the art form. The Yehudi Menuhin Chamber Music Seminar

- to collaborate and foster partnerships with Bay Area and national chamber music organizations, schools, and presenters to assist their chamber music goals

- to provide a comprehensive website that serves our programs and the general public through its information and resources [tickets, donations, etc.] and CALENDAR

- to aid in the support of a resident ensemble in San Francisco
