MUSICAL GRANT PROGRAM
early music - classical - contemporary - improvisation - jazz
The Musical Grant Program offers awards to chamber music projects in the genres of early music, classical, contemporary, improvisation, and jazz of the highest artistic quality in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.
The purpose of the program is to support performers and performances, giving a small but significant amount of financial assistance for specific chamber music projects.*
The program accepts applications from musicians, presenters, and composers**, but all applications must include the participation of an ensemble (or ensembles). The SFFCM Musical Grant Program seeks applications for projects that will impact the career of the participating ensemble(s) and will advance the visibility of chamber music in Northern California.
* We do not offer general or operational support.
** Please note that an ensemble, or a composer, or a presenter can only be part of one application.
