Intersection for the Arts
Jazz at Intersection at the de Young

Presenting Sarah Wilson’s Brass Tonic. Composer and trumpeter Sarah Wilson's energetic, idiosyncratic compositions reflect a deep understanding of the connection between images and motion, and sound naturally fluid and integrated. A new 9-piece ensemble that Wilson refers to as “power brass jazz folk song tonic for the masses” blends improvisational, jazz, and pop melodies to create funky, quirky fresh music.
