The Paul Dresher Ensemble's Electro-Acoustic Band Home Season concerts feature the premiere of commissioned works from two talented young composers, Gyan Riley and Sam Adams (both the sons of very well-known and influential composers), a new commission from multi-talented Bay Area composer/guitarist John Schott and the 7th Avenue String Quartet performing the concert music premiere of Dresher's quartet, Time Passes. Also on the program is the return of Ingram Marshall's atmospheric In Deserto (BlackRock), and Dresher's Double Ikat, a trio for violin, piano and percussion, a score with deep roots in the music of Indonesia and India.
