3. How does your group distinguish itself? Or, how will your project succeed?

Here are some examples: We are planning a concert of works by SF composers and wish to apply for a grant. We/I are planning a fund raising event to coordinate with the release of our new CD. We have contacted several schools and wish to find funding for a series of outreach performances starting next Fall. We are applying for a grant to commission a composer to write a piece for our ensemble. We are seeking general funding to support a concert series.
