SFFCM's free workshops cover the business, artistic and logistical aspects of a career in chamber music. Workshops will be scheduled twice a year after the conclusion of each application period.  New Affiliates are strongly encouraged to attend the following three workshops after acceptance:

The Business of Being an Ensemble:

Taxes, budgets and keeping the books.

Fundraising Letters:

Writing donor appeal letters and tips on online solicitation.
 
Grant Writing:

Writing grant proposals and creating a grant calendar.

Other workshops will be scheduled from time to time on communication with audiences, creating school outreach and youth programs, public relations and marketing, recording techniques, how to have good communication within an ensemble, social media, programming repertoire and commissioning.
